The city of Miami is situated at the heart of Metropolitan Miami-Dade. Two major local thoroughfares in the heart of downtown Miami with names such as Flagler Street and Miami Avenue, separate North from South and East from West, respectively. Within the city of Miami there are various and distinct neighborhoods, one no more charming than the next.
In the city there are urban neighborhoods such as the Brickell residential and financial district; downtown Miami with its high rise residential and office buildings, Coconut Grove, a bohemian mix of urban and suburban life style, Little Havana, with its aroma of cuban coffee, and the sounds of domino tables rumbling at play.
The bay front offers its park, Perez Art Museum, the Adriane Arsht Cultural Center - home of Miami City Ballet, the Miami Symphony, among many of its attractions.
Besides the aforementioned, other neighborhoods are well known and resided by celebrities among others such as Bay Point, Coconut Grove, Morning Side, Midtown.
